PASS PLUS DRIVING LESSONS

Great! You have passed your driving test - now you are free to drive on your own! But you are still a new driver with relatively little experience in mainly places you already knew. The Pass Plus course is designed to give you extra experience and knowledge needed to be a safer driver. 

National statistics show that new drivers are around ten times more likely to be involved in an accident than an experienced driver. Regrettably, two drivers under the age of 25 die every day in car accidents in the UK.

Roughly 20% of new drivers will be involved in an accident within their first year behind the wheel, this is one of the reasons why insurance premiums are so high for young drivers. 

What is Pass Plus?

Pass Plus is a scheme designed by the Driving Standards Agency, with the help of the motor insurance and the driving instruction industry. The course lasts at least 6 hours and will usually involve a long journey to new places, during this time your Driving Instructor will cover the following modules: 

Town driving, all weather driving, driving out of town, night time driving, dual carriageways and motorways.

Pass Plus results

As an indication for the effectiveness of the scheme, a recent survey carried out for the Driving Standards Agency showed that 93% of people who had taken the Pass Plus course felt more confident on the road, and 80% considered that their driving skills has improved as a result of taking the course.
