DRIVING INSTRUCTOR TRAINING
- Be your own boss What's the qualification process? The theory test (part 1) - This exam consists of two parts; you have to pass both parts at the same time to progress to the next stage. The first part is a multiple choice of one hundred questions; the second part consists of 14 video clips each lasting approximately one minute. You gain marks by identifying the developing hazards. The driving test (part 2) - This practical driving test lasts for approximately one hour and tests your driving skills to a very high standard. The test will cover many types of driving skills e.g. motorways, urban, rural, reversing etc... Instructional ability test (part 3) - This test lasts for one hour, in that time you will have to give practical driving instruction to a senior DSA examiner. He or she will start by acting the part of a learner driver who has had little or no experience and then a driver who is nearly test standard, just failed a driving test or already holds a full driving licence.
