DRIVING INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

Instructor TrainingWhy become a Driving Instructor?

- Be your own boss
- Work where and when you want
- A professional qualification you can use anywhere in the UK
- A guaranteed position upon qualification

What's the qualification process?

The theory test (part 1) - This exam consists of two parts; you have to pass both parts at the same time to progress to the next stage. The first part is a multiple choice of one hundred questions; the second part consists of 14 video clips each lasting approximately one minute. You gain marks by identifying the developing hazards.

The driving test (part 2) - This practical driving test lasts for approximately one hour and tests your driving skills to a very high standard. The test will cover many types of driving skills e.g. motorways, urban, rural, reversing etc...

Instructional ability test (part 3) - This test lasts for one hour, in that time you will have to give practical driving instruction to a senior DSA examiner. He or she will start by acting the part of a learner driver who has had little or no experience and then a driver who is nearly test standard, just failed a driving test or already holds a full driving licence. You'll need to pass both pre-set tests at the same time in order to successfully pass.

How can Miniscule Driving School help me?

Miniscule Driving School offers PDI part 1, 2 and 3 training, we also offer ADI check test training. Our part 3 training is carried out by a grade 6 (top grade) Audit registered Driving Instructor.

As all trainees require a different amount of hours training, we believe it is only fair to charge our training by the hour as opposed to a set package price. The other benefit of paying this way is that you do not have to pay for your training fees up-front. Our training fees are shown below:

Part 1 and 2 training - £25 per hour

Part 3 and check test training - £30 per hour
